Ryedale Counselling Service
Ryedale Counselling Service (RCS) provides free counselling to patients referred by doctors in eight practices across Ryedale and at one surgery in Scarborough (Norwood House). Residents of Ryedale can also refer themselves but they are asked to consider making a voluntary contribution towards meeting the costs of providing the services.
RCS has a website for children & young people called rite2talk. RCS is also developing a website for the adult counselling service. RCS is a project of Ryedale Voluntary Action.
RCS is curently consulting people in Ryedale and Scarborough Borough districts about the need for counselling services locally. If you would like to register your views please click here. The survey is open until 8th December.
